The concept of what is considered fashionable is constantly evolving, as the lines between fashion and anti-fashion blur. Even items once considered anti-fashion, such as tattoos or body piercing, can become part of fashion in the right context. This happens when these expressions are incorporated into the mainstream of fashion through commercialization and mass distribution.
